N34 Social Subjects

Social Subjects (N3–N4) is a combined course that introduces pupils to key ideas from Modern Studies, History and Geography. Learners explore people, places and events, helping them understand how societies develop, how the past shapes the present, and how humans interact with the environment. The course builds knowledge, enquiry and thinking skills, and provides a strong foundation for progression to National 4 or 5 courses in individual social subjects.
