Criminology (L5)

Criminology (SQA Level 5) introduces learners to the study of crime and criminal behaviour in an accessible and practical way. Pupils explore different types of crime, reasons why people offend, and how society responds through policing, courts and punishment. The course develops skills in investigation, research and discussion, helping young people understand real-world issues around crime and justice and preparing them for progression to Level 6 Criminology or related subjects
